All Events held at Thomas Bull Memorial Park, Rte 416
(Orange County Park, Montgomery, NY.)

All Meetings will be held at Hamtonburgh Town Hall,
18 Bull Rd. Campbell Hall, NY 7:30 PM
The Juniors hold their own meeting

G&M Riding Club
celebrates with awards banquet

Frank Capasso, past president of the G&M Riding CLub, presents Rachel Samuels with the Lucille Cox Junior Excellence Award for 2009. Samuels is the first recipient of this award in memory of Lucille Cox.

The Hudson Valley's G&M Riding Club held its annual awards banquet recently at Mountainville Manor.

The club presented the first Lucille Cox Memorial Junior Excellence Award to Rachel Samuels for her outstanding performance in community service and her horsemanship skills at G&M events.

The G&M Riding Club also established a Founders Award in 2004 to recognize the achievements of local horsemen. This year the two honorees were the late Virginia Martin, who ran Borderland Farm in Warwick and was involved in the Winslow Therapeutic Riding program, and the late Lucille Cox for her dedicated service to the club and the youth riding program for more than 20 years. The families of the recipients accepted on their behalf.

A surprise award was presented to Kathy Croak by a unanimous decision from the board of directors thanking her for devoted service to the club this past year.
